Covering written material to prepare for the DMV Written exam. |
| DOT Physical |
A Physical exam administered by a DOT clinic to issue potential commercial license holder with a MEDICAL ID Card, which must accompany the license.

| Endorsement Review |
Review endorsements, Haz-Mat, Doubles/Triples and Tank Vehicles. |
| DMV Written Exam |
All students obtain a Commercial Permit by the 5th day of training. |
| Week 2-3 |

| Pre-trip Inspection |
Outside vehicle safety and inside air brake inspection. |
| Yard Skills |
Instruction, review and practice of parking skills (parallel, alley docking and straight line backing).

| Week 4-6 |
|
| Road Skills |
Shifting (up, down and gear recovery) freeway, street driving, left/right turns and speed control.
|
| DMV Training |
Prep for DMV driving exam, review of all skills, placement assistance and DMV Testing.
|
| Week 7-8 |
|
| Advance Skills |
Training for bus license if taking professional course or review for skills failed at initial DMV Testing.
